Empower, Do Not Devour

and why do we look down on one another

rip and tear

like we have nothing to do elsewhere

when instead we should guide one another

in the midst of it all if we do not build each other

only adding to the hate

claiming it is our fate

in the nature of women

to compete with one another

instead of empowering each other

how can we call a woman strong

when we constantly do this wrong
